More about Active Kids
Eleven million thanks for raising £11 million for Active Kids last year
Thanks to you, last year we donated a massive £11 million worth of equipment and experiences to UK schools and kids’ clubs, which adds up to an amazing grand total of over £170 million since Active Kids began in 2005.
So we’d just like to thank you again for your fantastic commitment to this worthwhile cause. You can see how your local community has benefitted, by clicking on our success map.
But we don’t want to stop there. We want to keep on giving. And together we can.
With your help we can continue to make a difference by helping even more children to eat well, move well and live well in 2017.
Eat well, move well, live well
The earlier a child learns to eat well and keep active, the more likely they are to live well too. That’s why your support for Active Kids can make such a difference to children’s futures. So collect as many vouchers as you can to help provide your local school, kids’ club or group with some exciting new equipment and experiences.
Active Kids for All
Regardless of ability or impairment, we believe that every young person should be able to lead an active lifestyle. So it’s crucial to ensure that disabled kids can be included in school or community sports activities.
Our Inclusive PE Training Programme and Inclusive Community Training Programme provide training to help teachers, parents and community workers provide sports sessions that are suitable for kids of all abilities.
