Youth Sport Trust
The Youth Sport Trust is a national charity that is building a brighter future for young people through PE and sport. Through 20 years of experience they’ve developed a unique way of maximising the power of sport to grow young people, schools and communities through the development of qualities including creativity, aspiration, resilience and empathy.
The Scout Association
Scouting delivers life-changing adventure, skills, fun and friendship to over 450,000 young people across the UK. Scouts take part in activities as diverse as kayaking, abseiling, expeditions overseas, photography, climbing and zorbing. All supported by over 115,000 adult volunteers to help 6-25 year old girls and boys to grow in confidence, achieve their potential and support their local communities.
Girlguiding is the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK. They build girls’ confidence and raise their aspirations. They give them the chance to discover their full potential and encourage them to do good. They give them a space to have fun.
Clubmark is Sport England’s cross sport accreditation scheme for community sports clubs. The Clubmark accreditation scheme aims to make the nation’s sports club infrastructure safer, stronger and more successful by promoting high standards of welfare, equity, coaching and management. A Clubmark accredited club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages – helping parents and carers know that they’re choosing the right club for their young people.
Sported supports over 3,000 community groups across the UK which use the power of sport to transform the lives of disadvantaged young people. The charity supports the inspirational local heroes that run these groups by providing much needed business, financial and volunteer support in order that they can continue to do their amazing work long into the future.
British Nutrition Foundation
The British Nutrition Foundation is a registered charity that delivers impartial, authoritative and evidence-based information on food and nutrition. Its core purpose is to make nutrition science accessible to all. What sets BNF apart is its ability to bring together those with an interest in food and nutrition from diverse sectors – academia, medicine, education, communication and the food chain.
